Live Event Personalisation for Luxury Brands & Agencies
Looking for a calligrapher and engraver in Berlin for your next brand event?
Nelling Script brings live, hand-made personalisation straight to your guests, turning everyday products into one-of-a-kind keepsakes they'll want to take home.
Founded by Renata Nelling, Nelling Script specialises in on-site calligraphy, hand engraving, hot-foiling and bottle painting for luxury brands, event and PR agencies, store openings, influencer events, product launches, corporate events, weddings and more – in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and across Germany.
What is live personalisation?
Live personalisation means an artist personalises products on site, in front of your guests, during the event. A standard product becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake, and the moment of watching it being made becomes part of your brand experience. Guests stay longer at your counter, talk to your team and share the result on social media.
Where Live Personalisation Shines
Brand activations and pop-ups: a live atelier moment that draws guests in and invites them to linger.
Store openings and in-store events: every purchase leaves the boutique personalised by hand.
PR and influencer events: gifts so personal that guests can’t help but share them.
Product launches: from its very first day, your new product becomes a personal keepsake.
VIP dinners and clienteling: hand-lettered place cards, menus and gift tags for your most valued clients.
Seasonal gifting moments: Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day – personalised baubles, gift tags, packaging and gifts that make every occasion feel personal.
Four techniques, one artist
calligraphy
Choose calligraphy when the moment lives on paper: place cards for a VIP dinner, gift tags for a launch or packaging for seasonal gifting. Its style ranges from classic to modern, so it adapts easily to your brand.
ENGRAVING
Choose engraving for products made to be kept: perfume bottles, glassware and metal accessories. It’s the most permanent of the four techniques and a favourite for fragrance launches and VIP clienteling.
HOT-FOILING
Choose hot-foiling for leather and fashion pieces: bags, wallets, notebooks or luggage tags. A metallic monogram adds an instant luxury finish that suits fashion and lifestyle brands.
BOTTLE PAINTING
Choose painting when you want a small work of art rather than a name: motifs inspired by your fragrance notes, collection or season, painted onto bottles, candles and boxes. It takes a little longer per piece, which makes it ideal for VIP guests and smaller events.

ON-SITE REQUIREMENTS
1
All I need is a table (approx. 1 × 0.6 m), a chair, good lighting and, depending on the technique, access to a power socket.
I bring all the necessary tools and materials. My setup is compact and flexible, fitting seamlessly into retail counters, shop floors or event stands without requiring any additional construction.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN YOU PERSONALISE FOR PER HOUR?
2
It depends on the technique and design. As a general guide, on-site personalisation usually takes around 2–5 minutes per item, while hand painting takes approximately 5–15 minutes.
For larger events, I recommend keeping personalisations short (e.g. initials instead of full names) to minimise waiting times and keep the queue moving smoothly.
WHAT PRODUCTS CAN BE PERSONALISED?
3
Almost anything with a flat or gently curved surface: perfume and wine bottles, glass, metal, leather goods, bags, journals, candles, cosmetic cases, cards and packaging. Send me your product and I'll tell you which technique works best.
CAN THE PERSONALISATION MATCH OUR BRAND?
4
Yes. I adapt the lettering style, colours and layout to your brand guidelines.
WHAT DOES LIVE PERSONALISATION COST?
5
I quote per hour, depending on technique, duration and city. Please reach out to discuss the details.
